Today and Now

7 So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice, 8 do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, . . ." - Hebrews 3:7-8a
Every morning I wake up I pull myself up from bed, try to stand, try to walk, try to push myself to that cold water and do my morning routine, just to go to work. I walk outside get a change for my 100 bucks, buying C2 or Zesto + crackers then I'm off to my trip. I stop at an overpass, try to look down, when temptation comes through billboards and the like, I have victories, and I have losses.

And this is the beginning of what you call, a trip to the world.

Hard as it is, every morning is a trip that few of us will try to travel seriously. And similarly, every evening trip will be the same as morning. Temptation, by observation, starts at the weakest time, the idlest, and the unprepared time of life. It is when we are not awake conciously that we are tempted strongly. It is when we are in a confused state that we start to think distortedly.

Yet God says, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts..." Considering my travel, before everything else, I would read God's Word just for a fresh start for a new day, yet tempation in the morning and evening, will be ready to ruin me.

Sabi nga sa bible, "Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8)

Now, obey. Today, do not harden your hearts. That is the message of God every morning and every evening. If you hear Him, do not harden your heart. If you listened, do not change focus.

"Today, if you hear His voice do not harden your hearts.."
